Peter Mk1 MGBs did not have a commission number. The roadsters shell was built up from Pressed Steel Panels as you say at Morris Bodies Coventry and then painted and trimmed there. I was trying to use a "car in action" and show its registration - we (you) have just about succeeded.

Your picture is fine - however can't read the registraion or the rally plaque.

Maybe we should encourge action prictures rather than static ones - idea for the newsletter?

A liitle known fact the connection between lawnmowers and MGBs.

Certainly on early cars like my 65 with original brake drums when cleaned one willfind a Qualcast sysmbol - yes the same iron founders who made lawnmowers! They made lots of cast ironbits for industry.
