A gentleman has suggested my problem with my car suffering from suspected fuel starvation may be caused by a breakdown with the ignition system due to heat. I will try anything. next question what can break down to heat in the ignition system. any suggestion would be grateful. Regards Peter Williams.

I have removed the petrol tank filler cap and it had no effect on the starting of the car.it failed to start.

Please can someone help me.I own an mgb le. All was fine until a damaged fuel pipe near fuel pump. the fuel pipes were replaced and the in line fuel filter ,car was fine for 20 to 30 mins, engine cut out ,typical fuel starvation. I replaced the fuel pump ,once again i changed the in line fuel filter...
