Fault was indeed a fried coil, also replaced the points and condenser.
Car runs really good nowโ€”โ€”โ€” at last ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Hi Charles, Quite an exhaustive list of new parts went on the engine during rebuild so โ€œshouldโ€ be ok, after all it did run really well for over 100 miles before the fault developed, the only thing that was not new was the dizzy, I Originally had 123 electronic ignition but that was faulty (another ...

Misfire on acceleration

Driven around 120 miles since rebuild now the car has decided to develop a misfire/stutter when accelerating, when not loaded and cruising the car runs fine.
Have checked the dashpots for oil, plugs and leads were all new.
Any ideas what might be causing it?
