This has made me wonder about the very inexpensive replica Smiths gauges that have been popping up on Ebay. I wonder if one of these might be worth exploring for this especially if the original face and perhaps bezel were fitted to the replica gauge ?

I spotted a set of 'Jubilee' MGB wheels for sale on Ebay. To my untutored eye they look like V8 wheels though the seller has commented they are similar but not the same. Im wondering about them as an alternative to the current rostyles on my BGT. Are these the wheels that were fitted on the late LE ...

There are a few on Ebay at present including a 2nd hand one for only £ 12.99 which looks pretty good.

It does sound as though it will be a fantastic B to own and drive.

Were you intending on retaining the original registration (benefits being no annual MOT and no cost for road tax) or as a new vehicle (benefit being a new registration no but disbenefits + more hoops to jump through) ?
