Any recommendations for a reasonably priced mild steel exhaust system which will restore the classic MG exhaust note to my 1970 GT please.
Currently fitted (by previous owner) with a quite expensive stainless system and it sounds horrible !
Many thanks.
Paul.

Re: MGB GT Exhaust System
I have fitted one of these and sounds much better than the previous exhaust fitted to my car and a better sound than stainless steel imo.

Re: MGB GT Exhaust System
I've fitted a 2 inch bore stainless steel exhaust and manifold that has one silencer at the rear and it sounds really good. A single silencer at the rear removes the high notes and enhances the bass.

Thanks for the tips. Will research further on both your suggestions, as you are clearly happy with the results on your own cars.
