Hi
I am refurbishing the fuel tank on my MGB. Can you plesse advice if the tank should be black or the same colour of the car.

My new tank years ago had a thin coat of black paint so I plastered it with black waxoyl underseal paying particular attention to the top of the tank where it meets the boot floor. This area is a mudtrap.

if your sender is ok, reuse it.most new ones are hopelessly inaccurate.
