Door capping

Post by djgreen » Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:22 am

I have a question for anyone who knows both the roadster and gt well,

-- is there much difference between the front door capping (above the handles/winders) I need a set for my roadster but the gt ones are more available and I wondered if they could be modified ?

Thanks

Dave, probably the easiest thing to do is check the part numbers for the cappings for your year of car in the Moss on line catalogue? Same part number = same capping 😊

Hi Ian
Done that, and there is a different part number but apart from the minor end shape difference I was wondering if the length was the same etc 🤷‍♀️

Cheers

Sorry Dave, for suggesting the obvious! If you want me to measure or photograph those on my 72 BGT let me know,

Dave they are the same length, use different brackets and are deeper.

Lol
Still helpful though 👍
I managed to source some roadsters cappings but it is comforting to know I made the right call 😉
