mgbgt fuel starvation after driving for approx 30 mind.

Please can someone help me.I own an mgb le. All was fine until a damaged fuel pipe near fuel pump.
the fuel pipes were replaced and the in line fuel filter ,car was fine for 20 to 30 mins, engine cut out ,typical fuel starvation.
I replaced the fuel pump ,once again i changed the in line fuel filter.
now every time I drive the car , it performs well until the 20 to 30 min mark and again petrol starvation.
the in line fuel filter looks almost empty.
when I leave the car for 20 mind it starts and performs well for another 20 to 30 mind, and it cuts out again.
I am at a total loss as to this problem.
it frustrates me when the car stops I cannot disconnect the in line fuel filter to check if fuel pump is working
as the engine is too hot,petrol and heat don't mix.
the car now sits in the garage,and I sit in a chair in my house hair turning grey looking for an answer.
changing fuel pump and changing in line fuse,has made no difference.

Is your fuel tank venting properly? When you stop or run out of fuel in your garage, open the fuel filler and see if you can discern an inrush of air.

Alternatively, if not fuel related, there are some things which can break down with heat in the ignition system. Perhaps need to check that?

A dud coil can behave like the OP describes.

Thank you for your help.
I have removed the petrol tank filler cap and it had no effect on the starting of the car.it failed to start.
I do appreciate your help.

Thanks Peter for the response. Are you certain that it is a fuel starvation issue? If you are certain, then we can rule out ignition issues. As Dave mentions, the coil, the condenser, and the rotor arm can all fail as the engine heats up. Would be good to rule them out.
