Hi,
I received my membership number today so I thought i’d Introduce myself. I have purchased my very first Mgb in October this year, it’s a 1971 GT orange colour which had already had a lot of repair done to it by my local classic car garage.
Currently in the process of installing a new battery, cut off switch and roof lining as well as having to strip of the bran new soundproofing in the bonnet as I’ve it the wrong way round! Did I mentioned that I am a complete novice to car restoration? Wish me luck!

Remy, that's quite unusual! I believe this is a fairly recent Land Rover colour? Have you or a previous owner had the MG painted in this colour?

Previous owner had it painted that way, quite like it to be honest!

It's a very strong colour, and very similar (as far as I can tell) to BL Blaze.
Do you know what the original colour was? I suspect it may have been Blaze - a very popular colour for the BGT at that time.
