I have been following up leads with The Motor Heritage Museum Gaydon as suggested by George , the first RHD MGB GT was produced between 29th Sept and 12th Oct 1965, Chassis number GHD3 71933 , Colour Mineral Blue . MGB GT50

2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of the MGB GT and the MGB Register are starting to plan celebrations , does any body know the colour of either , the first GT off the line , the first GT press car or the first GT used for publicity.

I have found the system I use on my mark 1 BGT namely an electric fan as an addition to the engine mounted fan with a manual switch and looking from time to time at the temperature guage works well , I only need to concern my self with engine temperature in heavy traffic on a very warm day.

The start point must be a new Heritage Schell from British Motor Hetitage Tel 01993 707200 and then joining the MG Car Club and looking through the trade directory from then on it depends what you are looking for , if it is something really special possibly with a more modern engine and ...
