The Rubber insert is easy to put in with the 18G468A tool, it is or was the chrome stip that was the trouble.
But thanks for the copy of the manual details.
It is a freind that is doing this, he has just had a total respray and is now putting the glass back in.

That tool will do the round inner rubber but I don't think it would do the 1" wide chrome strip would it .???

Can anyone tell me if there is a tool to insert the chrome strips into the rubber glass surround for the GT windscreen and rear window.

There is another reason for dropping a cylinder when it has warmed up, that is a crack in the combustion chamber allowing water in and you would loose that cylinder.
