Re: Inlet manifolds

here you go.... HOWEVER Both manifolds are 12H2568 Flanges are 430 thou except one which is 413 That's a big difference for an OEM part and whilst I cannot see signs of it, I do wonder if it's a DIY which I had not noticed before. But, it's been done very well and must have had a pro milling machine...

The bottom hinge on RB has 2 sprung metal plates that create the 'modern' 2 stage opening door. all are interchangeable. I just put RB lowers on my CB. helps in car parks. but i feel tha...

I am considering doing this. If that's your kind of thing of course....I think MGC bonnets do really look great and it's the ...

By fit, I mean there are either gaping holes around the hinges where the form of the rubber is incorrect or a horizontal...

Re: Exhaust manifold nuts

I too have the long MGOC brass ones. last time I put the manifold on I stripped two of them but they have been on and off a few times whilst designing supercharger. But it's a lesson learned - in future i would only reuse maybe a couple of times. When one went there was one heck of a ping that I tho...

Re: Auto gearbox oil

You need to use TQF. I buy Castrol. Unfortunately on the pricey side compared to cheaper ATF fluids (available MGOC, Opie oils and I guess others) but the information I have read, from several sources says that the standard type of ATF fluids nowadays can/will(?) degrade internal seals. In the great...
