Stormforce are quite good. Not the cheapest but they work and dont blow away at the first gust of wind

The engine runs noticeably smoother with the pulley replaced. I will recheck the timing as has been suggested.

cooling fan sensor fitting

On my 1979 B the fan sensor (in the top of the radiator) moves out quite a bit when the engine gets up to temperature. Is this just the seal that needs replacing or should it have a retaining clip ?

Does anyone make K&N filter inserts for the original cans I wonder ? Ideally Id like to keep to the look of the existing painted metal airboxes but with the function and sound of K&Ns.
