Hi. My 72B has the original style radiator and a 7 blade plastic fan, no overheating issues. You may want to check your 10v voltage regulator , the one that feeds the fuel and temperature gauge. If it has gone faulty you may be getting high temperature readings.

Hi.
I would suspect a vacuum leak is presenting itself as the engine has warmed up. The usual areas are the inlet manifold ( check the tightness of the securing studs/ nuts) or the carburetor butterfly spindles. You could try whilst the engine is running on tickover and showing the symptoms, if you ...

Hi. Please see the attached wiring diagrams, they are labelled according to the year of the car. Hopefully they may help, start at the fusebox and follow each coloured wire connecting as you go.
