Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
Must exercise the B properly in 2020.
A word of advice. Be wary of someone offering to pull your car out if stuck in snow etc.
In March 2018 there was a heavy fall of snow in my area so I thought I could offer my services with the Land Rover to help. First I checked with my insurance company who informed me that I would not be insured as the vehicle is on a
Classic policy so if I towed anyone's car that was stuck and caused damage I wouldn't be covered. I don't know what legal clout a signed indemnity would have. With a 12 ton breaking strain towrope and 3 ton shackles and a chassis in excellent condition the weakest point would be the towing point of the stranded vehicle and even friends can turn into enemies so I'll have to refuse assistance.
