Has anyone here taken a rear seat base and backrest apart to replace the foams ?
Not that they will probably get much use but I'd like to replace the foams. It would be good to know if there's a way of removing the covers to get to the foams without having to cut anything

Re: rear GT seat refurb
Never had to do that with my '72 GT, despite three children using the back seat when they were small enough. Front seats were doñe though, about 20 years ago!

You may already have done the job, but in case it's still of use, I found the fabric could be removed by carefully levering out the staples with a small screwdriver. (Taking lots of photos of how everything went for reference.)
