GT spare wheel hold-down bolt thread
Does anyone know the thread of the bolt that holds down the spare wheel in an MGB GT please. It is clearly not metric!

Hi, I believe it's a 3/8" UNF thread

I have inverted my spare wheel to provide more storage space. The new shorter retainer is now a bolt with a piece of metal bar welded to it's top to make it easy to undo by hand.
