LED Headlight Bulbs

Post by Vic Butler »

The ban on fitting LED headlight bulbs to standard headlight assemblies has been amended. Now, vehicles first used before 1/4/86 can have them fitted and will not incur an MOT failure provided the headlight aim is ok.

Vic
Just a quick question

Do you receive the eNewsletter?

Does it make it to your inbox?

I would like to know as I did add a note regarding the swift U turn regarding LED bulbs fitted to classic cars pre 86.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Paul. I've read it now. I've got LED headlight bulbs in the Land Rover. I haven't driven it in darkness yet.

Nice to be an in-law again, though my LED headlights have passed two MOTs already.
