Hi again!
Another thought I've had - the clearance between the track rod end and the road wheel can be a problem with certain alloy wheels. Just in case they do foul the nice LE wheels you now have, there is a track rod end for alloy wheels where the ball housing is a smaller diameter. This part number GSJ168A, and is available from Moss-Europe and Brown and Gammons.

Think ive found some a bit cheaper at another supplier...........still £50 for nuts!!
All my bits done now bar sorting door locks out, but I might put in for MOT anyway next week.

My BGT rear axle is "offset" and did cause me some consternation, but after a bit of searching on the internet it seems this is quite normal for Bs
