An interesting article re spare parts

This article was in the news this morning. It raises an interesting question about how parts may be designated as "fake"?
We all know that Lucas ceased to be a genuine UK company many years ago, and that the name has now been "leased" to foreign manufacturers, some of dubious quality. Does this make items branded "Lucas" fake items?
