Is there a plan for us to be able to post photos directly to the forum at some future point as is the norm for many forums ? It may help to attract more regular visitors

The need to host photos elsewhere and then post links to them pretty much guarantees no one bothers and sadly instead heads over to MG Experience. It also puts the content at the mercy of the hosting sites, the photobucket debacle being a case in point.

Any photo can be added to a post as long as it is under 3mb

Well it could, but I will look into it for you as I cannot currently add one. Which is strange as I did the other day

Hi Chris,
I have adjusted the quota as after I added a couple of photos it stopped me adding any further.

To add a photo into a post like above. The file must be smaller than 3mb as that is the limit set. File types allowed = gif,jpeg,jpg,png

Click Attachments below the preview/submit buttons next to options, then click Add files

Select Place inline where you want the photo to appear after the cursor.

if you want it to add as an attachment just add the file and it will appear below.
Preview your post. If you are happy - click submit

If you click the picture button under the subject it will ask for the external address of the image.
