Recommendations for a garage for once-over

Hi all

I've recently come into ownership of my late grandfather's 1967 MGB GT. Prior to his passing, it was probably kept in the garage for 12 months before then due to his condition not allowing him to be able to drive it. Before that, it was regularly looked after by him as he's owned and restored it since 1984.

I'm looking for some help for recommendations of any garages in the South Leicestershire/Northamptonshire area that deal with classic cars, MG specialists in an ideal world, that we can take it to for a once-over to ensure it's still roadworthy or if it needs any tinkering doing. The family have been regularly turning it over and have emptied out the old fuel to replace with some fresh stuff, and it drove absolutely fine up to the point he could no longer use it. It's just to ensure there are no major actions that need dealing with before using it for car meets and Sunday drives. We as a family want to make sure it is looked after and to continue his legacy with being a long time member of the Car Club and MGB Register.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Paul

Thanks for the reply, will get in touch with them as well. Hopefully it can get sorted over next few months so it can be checked over and then ready to use for when it starts to warm up again!
